the book I’ve been reading this week is ‘For The Win’ by Cory Doctorow. this book is a fictional story follow a group of teenagers and adults as they go about starting a union for workers in less fortunate parts of the world. This story is well written and follows the story very closely, adding back story and other elements that bring more depth to the characters. the plot in this book was very well connected and brought all the different story paths together, leaving no loose ends. i feel as though this should be read by anyone looking for a nice, compelling read that will bring together many different ideas and put them into a single story.

3 Humans, 2 Monkeys and a Gorilla Relection

the way this exercise worked was we were given 6 Popsicle sticks which represented the 3 ┬áhumans, 2 monkeys and gorilla. we had to get all of them from one side of the desk to the other without letting the number of apes be higher then the number of humans on either side, we could only bring 2 popsicle sticks across at the same time and only the humans and the gorilla can move the boat, meaning that the monkeys couldn’t come back on there own. these rules, combined with the combination of popsicle sticks, refined it down so there became only one way to complete the activity. due to the fact that there was only one way this could be completed it soon became very much a game or trial and error, eventually leading to the completion. the hardest part about this activity was probably the trial nd error itself due to he countless number of dead ends and combinations resulting in failure. the main strategy used by me and evan was to just think of every possible combination that the situation offered and to eliminate the ones that didnt work.

the final combination was:
